Burke Mountain is a mountain located in the Northeast Kingdom, part of the Green Mountains region in northeastern Vermont. The resort is located in Burke and Kirby, Vermont with part of the resort in Caledonia County, and the other in Essex County. Burke is home to Burke Mountain Academy, a premier racing school that has produced 36 olympians such as Mikaela Shiffrin (2 time olympic gold meadlist) and over 100 U.S. Ski Team members. The summit provides stunning views of the Northeast Kingdom and Green Mountains, including the “Willoughby Gap” that features Lake Willoughby, a unique glacial lake. Burke has an annual snowfall of over 200 inches, and has 80% snowmaking on the mountain. The resort also includes 2 lodges and a resort hotel.
