Overnight tonight a clipper system is expected to bring a few inches of fresh snow to New England!

Highest snow totals can be expected in the spine of the Green and White Mountains of northern and central New England, where 4-8 inches of fresh snow is possible.

Snow starts falling late tonight and warps up Friday afternoon. Although the clipper system is a quick-hitter, it is expected to bring the light and fluffy type of snow, the kind we like.

The only unfortunate thing is behind the clipper system, it will be windy, and it’s possible some lifts will be put on wind hold. This is more likely in Southern New England where gusts may reach 50mph.
