A stalled front will allow for a few inches of fresh snow Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday. The snow will start falling right after resorts close on Wednesday and will gradually pick up after sunset.
Although this is a light snow event, some resorts could see over 6 inches of fresh snow, especially for the mountains in Southern Vermont. Here, we’re expecting to see the most snow, up to 8 inches possible for places like Mount Snow, Stratton, Bromley, and Magic Mountain.
The snow itself will be on the heavier, wetter side compared to what we’ve seen most of the season. So, typical New England snow. This is due to the milder conditions we have over the region that have been with us for a few days, but at least it’s no longer brutally cold.
There may be a larger storm to track Sunday night so stay tuned for the latest forecast and enjoy your time on the slopes this week.
