After a mild February turned into a mild start to March, winter has finally returned to New England ironically to start spring…
Many resorts over the past week have picked up upwards of a foot of snow, with some resorts, including Sugarloaf, Stowe, and Jay Peak getting over 30″ of snow!
An upcoming storm looking to add on to that total in a big way. Up to 20″ of powder is on the way Sunday with a winter storm brewing over the Midwest.
Snow begins falling Saturday morning in Vermont, and will overspread the region by midday.
Unfortunately for Southern New England, this storm will again miss to the north. The rain will also be heavy, so its not looking too good for many resorts in that area.
Although it’s been an abysmal winter, at least it looks like we’ll end it in a big way as this cold pattern may stick around into early April! -A.J.
