SNOW FORECAST: Friday into Saturday

The epic snow season continues with yet another storm is moving in with significant snow for the weekend. An even bigger storm possible early next week that is looking like a potential nor’easter.

Snow will move into New England early this afternoon, and gradually pick up into Friday evening. Snow amounts will vary from a few inches to up to a foot in some of the higher terrain, but most New England resorts are expected to see 6 inches of fresh snowfall.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for central and southern Vermont and New Hampshire ahead of the storm moving in. These areas are expected to see the worst driving conditions, so if you’re driving up from Southern New England, take it slow and be prepared for snow-covered roadways.

The next storm will start to develop late Sunday night and could be a full-blown nor’easter Monday morning, with blizzard conditions a possibility for southeastern New England.

Stay tuned for updates and enjoy your time on the slopes! -AJ
