MORE SNOW: Alberta Clipper heads for New England

More snow is on the way as an Alberta Clipper heads for New England.

Although not a nor’easter, there will be a decent amount of snow for several resorts on Thursday.

Winter weather advisories and warnings have been issued by the National Weather Service ahead of the storm as it moves in.

Along the spine of the Green Mountains in Vermont, White Mountains of New Hampshire, and Northwester Maine, up to 15″ of snow is possible, especially for the highest peaks.

For the Berkshires, expect a bit less but still significant 4-8″ of snow. Closer to the coastline, about a coating to 3″ of snow, so not much.

Aside from the fresh snow, there will also be some wind with the storm. Wind holds may be an issue tomorrow and Friday so check resort conditions before you head out.

Behind the storm, it gets cold for the weekend, so the snow won’t be going anywhere. However, you’ll want to dress warm with wind chills reaching the single digits in spots.

Enjoy the fresh snow! -A.J.
