A clipper system is set to bring some fresh snow as we head into the weekend. Most of New England Ski Resorts can expect around 1-3 inches of snow with some areas seeing a bit more.

The highest amounts are likely along the Massachusetts coastline around 5-8 inches of snow, with the Green and White Mountains picking up 4-6 inches of snow.

Blue Hills Ski Area may be the winner with ocean-enhanced snow expected to boost totals to at least 6 inches for the hill.

Although it is always nice to get fresh snow for the weekend, this is on the edge of some bitter cold that could be the coldest of the entire season. So dress warm if you’re headed to any resort, especially on Sunday. -AJ
